- I almost never write reviews but I have lived under belong for just under 2 months and it is one of the worst living experiences I’ve ever had. Our lease says that the house will not be rekeyed but it was rekeyed after the start of our lease. We also had many other maintenance requests at the start of our lease including the ac and oven not working from day one (not the mention the fact that the ac already broke again after 1.5 months) I spoke to my point of contact and was escalated. I am currently speaking with Tami and I have already been insulted and snapped at over email. She told us over email that she is refusing to call us back. Every single person I have spoken with has refused to answer questions and this includes Tami. She works in the office of the CEO. If she speaks to renters this way there is no hope for this company. If you are looking to rent with them pray to God you don’t have any issues because even the higher ups won’t help you or answer your questions (although they’ll try to gaslight you into saying they have) Edit: I also forgot to mention the fact that the yard is unsafe. They hired a professional who told us that the yard was unsafe and then they still refused to fix it. We still have an unsafe yard and are unable to go back there to cut grass Edit 2: A lot of their reply is not the full story. The AC and oven never should have been broken at move in and when the AC was fixed the first time it should not have broken less than 2 months later The house was not confirmed to be unoccupied during the rekeying since we had stuff in the house and knew nothing about this rekeying (I'd also like to note that our lease says that the house will not be rekeyed) I had to email her 15 times to tell her that we did not feel safe in the yard in order to get it looked at. For the yard we also requested that we be at the home while it was looked at since we felt more comfortable after coming home to find our locks changed in the past but she ignored our requests. I understand we don't have to be there but it feels like a courtesy after everything we've been through

- Clear communication and a stress-free leasing process from start to finish. The office team was professional, answered all my tenancy questions right away, and made the entire move-in seamless.
- If I could give negative stars I would. Our house was infested with mold after living there for half a year and belong told us to vacate and did NOT provide housing for me and our family. We were essentially homeless for an entire month and still had pay rent while we were unable to live in that house (it was later reimbursed but we had to pay rent on top of airbnbs, which they refused to pay for, just to stay off the streets.) Their lack of urgency caused devastation on our mental and physical wellbeing. Most of our belongings were unsalvageable and had be thrown away. As for that beautiful house, it sits and rots away to this day. We later found out that the homeowners just broke their contract off with belong as well. We made it through but by our own determination and unwillingness to give up. I’m seriously begging you do not rent from belong, it is the worst thing you could possibly do. There is much more to this story but I know most will not read this, I just couldn’t let someone else have the same thing happen to them like us.
- I love renting through Belong. We have had several major repairs that needed to be addressed. Belong contacted the owner and the owner immediately remedied the issues. Also, we had a rent increase, it was reasonably low.

- I started renting out my first house in 2024 through Belong. It was my very first time managing a rental, so it felt like a pretty scary move at the time. However, things went so well that I added a second rental property the following year. Belong found a tenant for the second house within a week! So far, it has been a wonderful experience.

- Do not be fooled by their ratings. Belong is not a functional or legitimate property management company. They operate as nothing more than an unqualified, incompetent collection mechanism designed to sit in the middle and take a commission. They offer zero actual service, possess no real management capabilities, and do absolutely nothing when real issues arise. They are purely a fee-collecting middleman that causes unnecessary stress and delays. Avoid them at all costs.
