- Joaquin was our leasing agent and was easy to communicate with, very accommodating, and overall did a great job of guiding us through our application process. I had a great experience with the Belong staff overall. They were consistently accommodating, responsive, and genuinely helpful whenever I had questions or needed assistance. Communication was clear and timely, and they always went out of their way to make sure everything was handled smoothly.
- Worst property management we’ve ever worked with. They try to nickel and dime you for everything and don’t care about the term of your residency, just money. One of the property workers tried breaking into the unit while occupying and apparently didn’t know someone was inside and a police report is filed with them. Wouldn’t recommend.
- Belong has a very strong team filled with really kind and knowledgeable people. We viewed the property once with Aaron and once with Allen (not sure of the spelling). They both were really kind and accomodating to all of our questions. They also were quick to take notes and photos to answer questions and ensure full transparency with the homeowners of the unit and us as the potential tenants. Allen even came from another city just to allow us to view the unit on such short notice too, and kept me in the loop about the timing of everything and was just overall really nice to work with. Kevin also interviewed us for the application process and was super nice. He explained all the policies and procedures very carefully. He also was helpful when answering questions and being patient with us. Joaquin who was our leasing agent was a big help in navigating our lease process. The listing we chose was a hot commodity and he was very quick to provide clear, concise, and thorough responses. We really appreciate how quickly he would call us or send us updates as a few things would come up. Nonetheless, he helped with transparency and providing a safe and positive experience. I really enjoyed chatting with him and feeling like we mattered as more than just tenants but as people. I would definitely recommend Belong for first-time renters!

However, the way Belong's upper management stepped in was nothing short of amazing. They handled every misunderstanding with professionalism, empathy, and a genuine commitment to making things right. Their leadership and dedication turned a difficult situation into a positive outcome, restoring my trust and confidence in the company. This is what true professionalism and customer care look like. - I’ve had a very frustrating experience with Belong. From the beginning, there have been ongoing issues with transparency and follow-through. There were multiple instances of unexpected charges and overdrafts on my account that were never clearly explained or resolved in a timely manner. Communication has been one of the biggest problems. It is extremely difficult to get in touch with anyone, and when you do reach out, calls are often ignored or not returned. On the occasions where I was able to speak with someone, I was given assurances that issues would be handled, but those promises were rarely followed through. What’s even more concerning is that my tenant experienced similar issues, which shows this is not just an isolated situation. The lack of accountability and consistency has made what should have been a straightforward process unnecessarily stressful. Overall, I would not recommend Belong based on my experience. Reliable communication and trust are essential, and unfortunately, those have been lacking.

- Super responsive - messaged them on Christmas Day of all days and still had my app processed and lease signed within 24hrs. Joaquin was very communicative and friendly. Made me feel super comfortable with the process!

- I had all the hope in the world for this company to help us rent our condo. The staff was lovely and the onboarding was very smooth. They had guaranteed a qualified renter in 18-21 days for the rate that was originally agreed upon (which was lower than we had wanted to begin with). After they received the listing, they continued to lower the price without consulting us. Long story short - when the rent was reduced (by mistake), they found a renter who was way less than the original agreed upon rate. Very disappointing as this cost us lots of money. The renter that they found said that the process was very cumbersome and not straight forward. This is not a company that I would trust again with a property of mine.

We had searched for weeks before finally finding the right home and when we did, Belong homes made it happen. We can not wait for our move in date!

- We have had a horrible experience with Belong. The lack of communication and professionalism was prevalent throughout our lease. From the constant maintenance issues which they were incredibly slow to resolve to them saying they would thoroughly clean and inspect the home prior to move in only to find the home was never cleaned and infested with beetles in the downstairs. Cannot forget the lock box on the front door which they said we would have to pay to remove it... They failed to communicate effectively regarding home issues as well as lied about how payments could be split in the portal with roommates. Prior to signing a lease they continued to say "well another buyer already had their credit approved so we cant negotiate price with you" only for me to hop on a call and negotiate the price down because our credit score was far better. This company lacks values and integrity. The homeowner ended up terminating the partnership with Belong and now we work directly with one another and have no issues. They were scamming the owner out of 100's of dollars in fees and genuinely do not care about their clients. Will never be using them again.

- Belong is the worst property management company for both renters and owners. They make repair appts without consulting with us first. They just call and say “someone will be there tomorrow. Several times I’ve waited all day and no one ever showed up. They use people that have no idea how to fix things. Our front door is inoperable. You cannot open it from the outside. Guy came to fix it had no idea how to remove the door handle so he completely destroyed it and after six hours he left and never came back. Our front door is unusable and unsecure. We have complained to belong many many times in the past 2 1/2 years but they have no idea how to provide good customer service. DONT RENT FROM THESE PEOPLE. The homeowner says they overcharge her every time they come out. I could go on forever but I’m so tired of dealing with belong I can hardly believe what they constantly put us through with every home repair.
